Copy Lease Contract

Explanation

This activity is used to create a new lease contract by copying specific data from an existing lease contract.

Prerequisites

A lease contract and the relevant information intends to be copied must exist.

System Effects

A new lease contract header or/and lease contract related information is created, based on the original lease contract header or/and lease contract related information.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to copy a lease contract:

1. Open the Lease Accounting window.
2. Query for the lease contract that you want to copy.
3. Select right mouse button option Copy Lease Contract to open the Copy Lease Contract dialog box.
4. In the Contract ID field, enter the identity for the new lease contract.
5. In the Description field, enter the description for the new lease contract.
6. In the Copy group box, select the check boxes that denote the data you want to copy to the new contract.
7. Click OK.
